Quick Updates

1) My ankle is still messed up, and I think I am going to have to go to the doctor. It isn't healing the way it normally does. It hurts like you wouldn't believe.

2) Remember when I went to the doctor in Michigan and he told me I wasn't sick but I was very sick? Long story short - my insurance company investigated them for insurance fraud and the state of Michigan got involved (attorney general investigated for fraud and they said that they were going to file a complaint about the doctor himself with whoever it is that governs doctors). Today, I received a check from them for the co-pay that I paid.

3) Comcast still sucks. I had to call their corporate headquarters in Philadelphia twice to get any kind of resolution. I canceled the phone and threatened to cancel the internet and cable. They gave me a good rate and I agreed to wait to decide.

4) Everyone is healthy now. Only one of us (not me! Woooo!) ended up with the flu, so that was good. The sick one is now back to being his normal bitchy teenage self.

5) Today was Marty's day off so we got our bedroom finished. The headboard is hung, the closet is organized and clothes are put away. Tomorrow I am going to do nothing but decluttering and organizing the kitchen. Oh, and making something to take to our Halloween party on Friday.

6) My brother and sister-in-law are in Jamaica right now and I hate them for it. Of course, they are debt free, blah, blah, blah. I still hate them. (Not really. I am just really, really jealous.)

7) I am still working on my list of talents. I should be done soon, and will post my final list.

8) It is getting stinking cold here in Mississippi! Yesterday we saw people in winter coats... I had on capri pants and flip flops. I know that next winter I will be right with them, but for now I am enjoying it. Thank god tomorrow it is going to get back in to the 70's.
